SHIPPING, RETURNS AND PRICING

SHIPPING

AUSTRALIA WIDE SHIPPING

All orders are shipped via Australia Post using compostable satchels as follows:

 

Small Satchel (355x225 up to 4 skeins)          $9

Medium Satchel (390x270 up to 8 skeins)   $12

Large Satchel (415x315 up to 12 skeins)         $16

 

All orders are tracked, you will receive the tracking number once your order is dispatched. The time required to prepare an order varies depending on whether the colourway is in stock or needs to be dyed. Ready to post skeins ordered between Monday to Friday are posted next day. Weekend orders are posted on Monday.

We do not accept any responsibility for lost parcels due to a postage or delivery error. Please ensure your delivery address is correct to avoid any delays or non-delivery. If there is an issue, I will do my best to have it dealt with through Australia Post, however, I cannot replace items that are lost if Australia Post has not accepted liability and approved a claim for the missing items.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

All orders are shipped via Australia Post. International shipping is calculated at standard rates asked for by Australia Post and will depend on your location and the total weight of your order. We will determine the exact Australia Post cost of your order after it is placed. This is the only exact method of doing son. Packaging is included in the weight total.

You have the option of Economy (non tracked) or Standard (tracked) postage. I strongly recommend selecting standard as tracked postage is faster and traceable. You will you know where your package is on it’s journey to you. If you select standard post, your tracking number will be sent when your order is shipped.

International customers can also select extra cover and/or signature on delivery if you require extra security for your package.

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. We are not responsible for delays due to customs or delays in postage processes once the item has left our premises.

We are legally required to disclose the package contents and price. For all International packages the content is “Yarn” and the value of the order, will be what you have paid us.

RETURNS

This may be due to the external light at the time the photo was taken, the camera settings, or perhaps the calibration of the viewer's monitors.

Due to the unique nature of the yarns, we do not accept exchanges or cancellations. However, please do not hesitate to contact me with any major problems or quality control issues, such as excessive knots or  substantial discolouration. All ours yarns are subject to strict quality control checks to ensure you are receiving the best product possible.

PRICING

At the moment, due to our turnover, GST is not included in pricing for Australian customers.

Any reviews or comments which, in our opinion, are inappropriate will be removed from the website. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time, without notice or reason.

Less than 18 years old
This website is not designed for use by children under age 18, and we do not knowingly solicit personal data from anyone under age 18.  If you are under age 18, do not access or use our website or related products or services. Under no circumstances is anyone less than 18 to purchase any of our products.

We retain the copyright to the content of this website as well as images we post (except those to be acknowledged from other sources). Michelle Anne Palmer (Michelle) Trading as Dyeing to Knit (Dyeing to Knit) is committed to providing you with the best possible customer service experience. We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), which sets out a number of principles concerning the privacy of individuals.

Who are we
In this policy, we, the business, the website or Dying to Knit all refer to Michelle Anne Palmer Trading as Dyeing to Knit under the ABN 11387068316.

 

Collection of your personal information
There are many aspects of the site which can be viewed without providing personal information, however, for access to certain Dyeing to Knit features, you must submit personal information. This includes your full name, street address as well as your unique username and password. Dyeing to Knit website may also record IP addresses through the use of cookies.

When you make a purchase, we will collect your postal address, billing address, contact number and other details as prompted during checkout. We do not record or store any personal payment details.

We may occasionally hire other companies, or third parties, to provide services on our behalf, including but not limited to handling customer support enquiries or providing administrative assistance. For each visitor to reach the site, we expressively collect the following non-personally identifiable information, including but not limited to browser type, version and language, operating system, pages viewed while browsing the Site, page access times and referring website address. This collected information is used internally solely for the purpose of gauging visitor traffic, trends and delivering personalised content to you while you are at this Site. This website uses Google Analytics to track trends and user habits while on the website and collect data to better understand our audience.

From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change, data collected from the date of the change will conform to our updated practices.

How long we retain your personal data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically.
